Etched Bayonet. [Carl Eickhorn].

Wehrmacht dress bayonet with an etched blade, complete with scabbard and officer’s sword knot in green and silver. The blade features high-quality etching depicting the Wehrmacht eagle, oak leaves, a cannon within a laurel wreath, and the inscription “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” (“In Memory of My Service”). The grip is made of bakelite with characteristic checkering; the metal fittings are nickel-plated. The blade ricasso bears the manufacturer’s mark of E. Pack & Söhne, Solingen. This example exhibits excellent preservation of the etching and represents significant collector interest.
