Model 1884/98 bayonet for the Mauser K98k carbine, complete with metal scabbard. The handle features Bakelite grips with characteristic checkering. The blade is single-edged with a fuller; the ricasso bears serial number 9259 and the letter code ‘k’. The pommel displays Wehrmacht military acceptance stamps WaA253 and WaA268. The metal scabbard has a ball-shaped tip, with markings on the throat including the ‘1937’ production year designation. The bayonet is in good collectible condition with age-appropriate patina.
